2 Timothy 3:14-17, 2 Timothy 4:1-5
But as for you, continue in what you have learned and in what you have been firmly persuaded, knowing from whom you learned it, and that from infancy you have known the sacred scriptures, which are able to give you wisdom for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
All scripture is God-breathed and helpful for teaching, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that the people of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.
Therefore, I charge you in the presence of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom: proclaim the word; be persistent whether it is convenient or inconvenient; convince, admonish, and entreat with all patience and teaching.
For the time will come when people will not bear sound teaching, but following their own desires, they will seek teachers to tickle their ears, and they will turn away from the truth and turn instead to lies.
But as for you, always be circumspect, endure suffering, do the work of one who brings good news, and fulfill your ministry.
