Romans 1:1-7 - My Paraphrase

Paul, a slave of Jesus Christ, appointed an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God, which he promised beforehand by his prophets in the holy writings, concerning his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who was made of the seed of David according to the flesh and declared the son of God with power according to the spirit of holiness by resurrection from the dead, through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about obedience of faith among all peoples for his name, among whom you are also called to Jesus Christ, to all who are Rome, beloved of God, called saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
